A: The Marz Edit is a holistic and creative agency, not a standard photography studio. Led by multidisciplinary artist Marz, we are dedicated creative partners focused on crafting cinematic visuals that uniquely express your story and inner world, going beyond simply taking pictures to create resonant experiences.

Q: What is your approach?

A: Our approach is holistic, collaborative, and deeply rooted in creativity. We work closely with you to ensure every detail, from initial vision to location and mood, is intentional and reflects your essence. We aim to create a nurturing and empowering space where your unique story is celebrated through visually stunning and deeply meaningful experiences.

Q: What happens first? What is the process like?

A: Our process begins with an in-depth consultation. Next, you'll receive a personalized quote. Secure your date with a retainer, and we'll begin the full curation process. We then discuss logistic finalizations, followed by your production day. Post-production completes the journey, ending with your final delivery.

Investment & Booking

Q: Is the retainer refundable? A: No, retainers are non-refundable and are 30% of the package price.

Q: How should I pay the remaining balance? A: The remaining balance must be paid in cash only.

Q: What if I pay the remaining balance with another method? A: A $15 fee will apply to any payment method other than cash.

Q: When can I book a session? A: Our booking calendar opens on the 18th of each month.

Our Creative Hours

  • Business Days: Tuesday - Friday, 11 AM - 5 PM
  • Mondays & Sundays: Closed

Squeeze-In Fees (Outside Regular Hours)

  • Outside Business Hours: $75
  • Less than 3 Days' Notice/Same Day: $50
  • Fully Booked/Closed Calendar Request: $60
  • Holidays: $250


Our Focus

  • We do not provide newborn/children's photography or event photography services.

Travel Fees

Located in Nashville, TN.

Out-of-State

Inquire for fees. Package price + $150 travel fee. Requires flight, minimum 2-night hotel, and $50/day ground transportation for primary and associate photographer.

  • Same Night (1 photo max.): $155
  • 24-48 Hours (2 photos max.): $135

Lateness Policy

  • Grace Period: 10 minutes
  • 15 Minutes Late: $20 fee
  • 30 Minutes Late: Cancellation & $40 rescheduling fee

Reschedule / Cancellation Policy

  • Reschedule (24-48 hours notice): $40 fee (one-time only)
  • Same-Day Cancellation: $50 fee
  • Cancellation without Reschedule (within 3 days): Retainer forfeited.
  • Three Cancellations: No future bookings.

Photo Ownership

  • The Marz Edit retains ownership and rights to all photos for posting and distribution.
  • Client Ownership Rights: $150 fee + signed contract.
